Get to know me!
Ever since I was a little kid I loved creating artworks for the family. I would draw almost every day. They would always tell me my drawings where really good. As I grew older I never quit drawing. My artwork got better and better. Thats when I realized I had a talent. I decided to start investing in different art supplies to see what fits my fancy. So far I have tried Koi watercolors, Oil pastels, Chalk pastels, Graphite, Copic markers, Prismacolor pencils, Posca paint markers, and many different pen brands. I most enjoy using Koi watercolors and Graphite.
One day I decided to make an art account on Instagram. I got around to it and now I can share my art with the world! I can see so many other amazing artists like myself.
When I’m in my studio I’m not always painting or drawing. I journal too. I journal with my fountain pens. Its an amazing feeling. Fountain pens are kind of like calligraphy. Fountain pens are an art that was slowly dying. They now are climbing back up the popularity scale. Writing is actually very healthy. Check out this quote I found:
“Whether you’re keeping a journal or writing as a meditation, it’s the same thing. What’s important is you’re having a relationship with your mind.” – Natalie Goldberg
I have picked up digital art! I was using autodesk sketchbook. It's a really great program for being free. I have switched to Procreate. Im still finding my digital art style but I defiantly think Procreate is a great investment. They have a lot of options for tools and you can download or design new ones.
With Procreate I have picked up Animation! I've also made a couple Gifs. I am still figuring it out. Its not easy work.
